Star Trek has won the Guinness World Record for the Longest-running space video-game franchise. For this record, Star Trek beats out Disney and even Star Wars. Beginning in 1971 and producing games up until this past January, the evolutionary streak of themed video games is up 45 years – and probably still counting!
